Hi Victor, I want to do the same...hike the Bruce...and I am looking into it...my main question: where do you stay? There are a few pics of you guys sitting in a tent...where is this? Did you just pick a spot on the trail?
Hi Kevin - yes, we just camped right on the trail. I cannot officially encourage this as I don't think you are actually supposed to do this, but that's what we did.
We were very careful to do 'zero-impact' camping (no campfires and no trash left behind).
Please feel free to email me if you have any further questions.

no, we didn't hang food from a tree. There are no bears in this part of Ontario, so the only real worry is racoons. So far, it's never been a problem. We don't carry meat or much fresh fruit, and everything is sealed in plastic bags inside our backpacks.

Thanks for any info you can offer.
Cheers,

Hi Victor,
I'm also planning on hiking the bruce. I've hiked a lot of the northern part but will be starting in the south.
How did you deal with your food at night? Did you hang it from a tree?
Thanks,
Beth
